Cynos series provides you with Ryobi's most recent technology, featuring our exclusive wobble-free rotor balance system ( Z rotor system ) and a multi point stopper mechanism which allows for immediate and perfect hook settings. The XS series has 2 ball bearings and a light weight graphite spool. There are eight different sizes fo the XS series.

A friend asked me to look into this reel.  The last time he used it, the reel had a jerky drag. 

Nothing special about the spool cap.  Its just a spool cap.

Here is the drag.  You can clearly see the grease smear on the drag washer.

Upon opening, here is what you will find.
The clip, drag washer, the drag made up of something between a plastic and something leathery and a copper shim.  If you have carbontex lying around and you want to upgrade the washer, the size is 11.5mm x 4 x .5mm.  An additional washer and drag would greatly benefit this reel.

Upon opening the sideplate, in what i am expecting to be a bearing, I found a bushing instead.  The size of the bushing is 14mm x 7mm x 3.5mm.  If you have some spare bearings, this again would improve the performance of the reel.  The main gear uses two bushings.

Another surprise here.  There is no instant anti-reverse bearing but rather a dog that latches itself on the rotor to stop the motor from reversing.

 Here are all the parts ready for cleaning in lighter fluid, gears in grease and the single bearing in oil.
