Servicing a Shimano Solstace 2500

Spool with the drag washers.
If you want to change this to carbontex, size of the washer is
17.5mm x 5.4mm x 1mm 

Shaft gear

Line roller without bearings.  I'm not sure if this could be upgraded to ball bearings.


Two piece reel guard...

Pinion gear bearing.  Size is 19mm x 6.9mm x 5mm

. Drive gear bearings with size Size is 19mm x 6.9mm x 4mm


Drive gear all cleaned up.

Anti-reverse bearing with the clutch removed.



See those two arrows on the drive gear and the oscillating gear, they should be aligned when you re-assemble them as they will cause binding.

Bearing installed and oscillating gear greased.





Drive gear, oscillating gear, slider and anti-reverse bearing installed.



Shaft screwed back.

All gears were greased.

Reel body closed.

Rotor installed

Reel servicing complete.
